Getting to Know You - Grocery Stores

I would love to know which grocery stores my readers prefer. Please leave a comment in the comments section so that I can hopefully link or post sales with coupons matches to your local grocery store. I can not promise all grocery stores will be matched but knowing what you want would be very helpful to make new additions.

Thanks!

I go to Stop N' Shop and Wegmans here in Central NJ. We don't have any stores around here like Publix that offers double coupons or takes competitor coupons! :-(

Safeway has great coupons in their weekly ad. Sometimes inside, they have whole or half pages full. They can also be used at Von's.

H-E-B has the best prices here is S.Central Texas. When we're in a hurry we run to Kroger.

First, a very small word of, "Thanks & sincere appreciation for your support and hard work Ashley." We Moms have it so different now than 30+ years ago and your contribution truly helps so very many!
'Popular Stores' in our area (Oregon): Safeway, Wal-Mart, Fred Meyer, Walgreens, Trader Joe's, Roth's, Winco, Target, Whole Foods. Understandably, these are different than your 'neck of the woods'.
So grateful for you...

Living in the small state of Delaware limits the options but I shop at Walmart, Walgreens, Rite Aid, Food Lion, Superfresh and Acme. Superfresh does triple coupons but can be a bit pricey if you don't watch what your buying.

Anonymous said...

Giant Eagle & Kroger!

I'm in WA and shop at Fred Meyer, Albertson's, Costco. The problem is, as a single person with no kids, most of this coupon stuff isn't worth doing since I don't buy 90% of the junky sugar-and-carb loaded foods that the coupons are good for. And I find that coupons for brand names are common, but even with the coupon I save more by just buying the house brand. So while it's great for people who do buy this stuff, there's not a whole lot of savings for people who pretty much stick to the fresh foods sections of the grocery store.

A new Wal Mart Supercenter just opened near me in South Jersey so that's where I've been shopping for the past few months. We don't have a lot of the stores you mention, like Publix.

I do most of my grocery shopping at Kroger. At first I thought it was too expensive but when you use your Kroger card you can get some good deals, and they send you coupons for things you are most likely to use. I will also follow the sales to Hays and Country Mart here in Jonesboro, AR

Anonymous said...

First of all, I love your site! Thank you so much for all your helpful information!!

I shop a lot at Food Lion and Walmart here in Maryland. I'd love to see your list for Food Lion!

Since my husband is a store manager, I have to say Publix! With all of their BOGOs and Advantage Buys, I'm able to save $75 to $100 a week on groceries.

I like CVS and their ECBs. It's quick and easy to find the deals. I don't go for the whole rebate thing, so that's why I prefer CVS over Wags.

Anonymous said...

Grocery Stores: Stop n' Shop, Waldbaums, Foodtown and Keyfood...all in Bklyn, NY. Key Food is the only one offering double coupons at this point in time. I shop at Target, but don't find the prices really that competitive. There is no Walmart in my area, but when I am out on Long Island I always do some shopping at Walmart.

Anonymous said...

Stop & Shop, Rite Aid Pharmacy, CVS, BJ Wholesale club, Pricerite(no coupons allowed here, Walmart, Target, K-Mart, Shaw's, Shoprite.
Walgreens(but their is no rewards) I inquired the other day if I could sign up to get additional coupons and was told no. I am located in Bridgeport, Connecticut.
I want to take a moment to thank you for your time and hardwork. I appreciate you sharing the information with other. I was one of the individuals that was able to catch your segment on Dr. Phil and have been using coupons a little bit more since then. The funny thing is that the week before I just started using some coupons and was very excited. What is more hilarious is that now when I am shopping I am looking in other people's carts and want to say do you know there is a coupon that you could use for that. LOL
