Ashley,
I'm glad you got your diapers.com code!

I saw you on Dr. Phil and I've been hooked ever since.

I have a question, do you know anywhere that I can find a coupon for energizer batteries? This week I noticed that the rechargeable energizer batteries that are in the Easysaver Rebate list are on sale from $12.99 to $7.99 at Walgreens. With the $5.00 rebate that brings it down to $2.99 which is an excellent deal but I just wanted to know if there are any coupons out there that I can't find to make this deal even better! Can you help?

Are the coupon inserts regional? I've already found two items on sale at CVS that were supposed to have coupons in the Smart Source insert from 3/15, but they were not in mine. Thanks for your help.

Hi Ashley, Thank you for all of your hard work. I love visiting your site. I really appreciate your post on the bad coupon days when some stores/clerks make you feel guilty for getting a great deal. I thought it was just me. I think I am late for the giveaway, but If I am lucky, my pick would be the Simply Chic set.
Thank you. RachelB27@hotmail.com

I have a bit of a problem. I recently ran into an issue at my neighborhood Krogers. The manager there said they wouldn't accept more than one online coupon per trip to the store. Are they allowed to do that? Should I complain? I've been using online coupons for years now, but yesterday they said they knew was ( the coupon lady) and they were instructed to accept only one of my online coupons for the entire order. I understand that it takes a while to go through all the coupons and I usually try to go when it's not busy. But isn't that par o their job? I tried to explain how coupons work (TO THE MANAGER, SHEESH!) but it fell on deaf ears. Are all Krogers like this? Or should I just switch stores since I'm obviously bothering this store with my coupons?

cjk - you should complain. you a customer and they do have a job of making their customers happy. managers can make different rules for different stores. I would call coporate, see if this is a policy that is over all the stores or is a decision the manager makes. sorry you are having trouble. do you have another kroger you can try?

Asley, I saw you on the Dr. Phil show, which led me to your website. Thank you for helping us with our grocery bill and such. I do have a question, I understand why you buy several Sunday papers, but I don't understand why you keep them in a binder and not cut them out and organize them by product?? Also, what do you mean when you take in a competitor's coupon to another store? What are you talking about here? Thank you, Melissa...melissa-harmon@att.nett

Ashley, me again (Melissa). What is the giveaway of Simply Chic? I would be interested too if not too late.

Frugal Coupon Living said...

Melissa, the giveaway button is at the top of my blog. As for a competitors coupon this means to take a coupon to a store where the coupon doens't belong. While Walgreens does not take competitors coupons, one example is if I bring a CVS coupon to Walgreens. I hope this helps!

I love Southern Living Magazine...but unfortunately I don't subscribe to it anymore because my husband and I went through the "Dave Ramsey" course at our church last year. We are trying to live like no one else so that we can one day "live like no one else". I love your web site and it has helped me to save so much money. I also have a lot of extras to give away! Maybe in the future I can once again subscribe to my favorite magazine "Southern Living".

Ashley,

I can not thank you enough for this ministry that you are doing to help so many of us out there. I would love to win the cute baby basket packet - but wanted you to mostly know - how much of an asset you have been to our lives. I am homebound and disabled. This has allowed me to save money each month - as my way of bringing in extra income. With all of the special freebies, etc - I have started a food donation pantry from our garage and also donate to the local Humane society, Pregnancy Center, families in crisis, and send coupons to our military now. For a person who thought there could be no purpose from her previous nonstop busy, volunteering life - You have allowed me to help my family and others and the blessing is immeasurable. Thank you so much. Sandra Gray......
