YEAH YEAH YEAH!!!!! I have been hoping for a while that you would pick up KROGER!!!! You DO NOT have to buy 2 items in B1G1 deals (at least here in Auburn- but this was also true in KY so I believe it should be true for all locations)- Kroger plus card is the reward card. If you spend over $100 a month using your card, you can save $.10 per gallon on gas! go to the website Kroger.com and they offer coupons to load onto you card and additional coupons for printing. Also, they give GREAT coupons in the mail (like $10 off your order if you spend x amount of dollars). Coupons are also given at the end of transactions (kind of like Winn Dixie). Whew. Apparently I am addicted to Kroger!

Kroger has great deals on Buy 10 for $10.00. Awesome when you also have coupons!! You do not have to buy 10 in order to get the deal of $1.00 per item. (at least not in Tullahoma, Tennessee store)

Carla, looking forward to it

Kroger does have a reward card. It's called the Kroger Plus Card. It does save quite a bit. I hope this info helps

One of the best deals at Kroger is a promotion that they run where they have around 20 items (ranging in cost from .49-5.00) and if you purchase 10 items from that list in one transaction... there's a bonus of either $3 or $5 taken off the order. If combined with coupons, you can really save a ton!

Our Kroger (angleton, tx) offers triple coupons to .39, double to .50, face value .51 and over. can always find great deals with coupons at kroger.

I'm so excited you're going to list Kroger deals...I'm just starting to go back there again to maximize my coupon savings. They do have electronic coupons that go on your card...you can do that through shortcuts.com. They do send out periodic store coupons via snail mail. If you really do your homework, you can save money! In Indiana, they double coupons up to $.50. No tripling here.

Kroger does not accept comp. coupons, the register automatically doubles coupons less than .50, you must use your Kroger plus card, you can load coupons to your Kroger plus card using P&G esaver and Shortcuts.com, and when I do use the Kroger plus card coupon I can still use a manufacter coupon, I think that is a glitch, and they have been pushing cellfire (never used it). This is for GA.

Thanks

Thank goodness for the Kroger deals!!! My local Kroger is in Richardson, TX. There is a rewards card, called the Plus card. You can load electronic coupons on it, and when you spend $100 a month, you save $.10/gal on gas at Kroger stations. They periodically have buy 10 items (from a participating list, & yes, you must buy 10 items for the discount to take effect), save $5, which can be done 3 times a transaction. When you use your plus card, they send you personalized store coupons via snail mail (my Thanksgiving turkey was FREE!) They triple coupons up to $.39 & double up to $.50. I am not sure if they take competitor's coupons, but it would be fantastic if they did. They often have manager's specials on their meat & produce that are near their sell by dates, and on wine & other goods that they just need to move. They also often have 10 items for $10 sales, and you do not have to buy all 10 items to get the dicount. On the B1G1 deals, you do have to buy 2, at least at my local store.

I am in Topeka, KS and we have a Dillons here, but they are the same company as Kroger's. The other day I did a self checkout at Dillon's and scanned a $.55 off IC that said do not double, but lo and behold, and extra $.45 cents came off! Woohoo!

Kim,

I love Kroger. I went during the buy 10 items and save $5. I had a grand total of about $400. After I used all my coupons, I saved almost $200. I was so proud of my savings. My husband thinks I'm crazy sometimes but he never complain when he see all of our savings.

I think most everything has been covered already, but I want to mention a couple of Kroger-isms that I didn't see.

-They do not double their STORE coupons.
-You get a 5 cent discount per re-usable bag you bring each visit.

These may just be specific to my store.

We don't have a Kroger store alone, but a City Market with the Kroger Brand, and I'm pretty sure everything is mostly the same deals. They have a deal going on right now if you spend $100 in one transaction then you get $10 off a gift card or a $10 CM gift card. If you are spending $200 then ask the cashier to ring up the order separate and they will do it, and you can get $20 in gift cards. This was suppose to end March 31st, but they are extending it until the end of April.

Also I finally made my first Walgreens run today, and am so excited. I got $125 worth of goods for $31.00. I saved $93 in coupons and rebates, yeah!! Thank you so much.

I think a lot has already been covered but I noticed a couple of things were different in some states. I live in Ohio and they do have a reward card and you can load coupons to it using a couple of different websites, they suggest shortcuts.com. They do double coupons up to $.50. They also have the fuel plus instant savings, thru Mar 31 for every $50 spent you will get $.20 off per gallon, they usually run this deal month to month. They also every so often will run a deal where however much you spend you will recieve a percentage off their home store, which includes things such as furniture, picture frames, bedding, etc. but not all Krogers have this. I know that at our Krogers you DO NOT have to buy all 10 items to get the 10 for $10 deal, they also run a, I think it's called, Mega Mix deal and I believe with this you do have to buy all items, again I am not 100% sure on this. Also with certain items you purchase you will recieve coupons that print out along with your reciept, for example I recieve alot of coupons $.50 off 4 jars of gerber baby food and B1G1 Enfamil and you will recieve coupons via mail which sometimes include free 1/2 gallon kroger milk or orange juice and $10 off your next grocery purchase. There may be many more deals that I am not aware of, I am new at this so bare with me. =0) Lots of potential to save BIG!!

Here at mine in huntsville, AL They double up to .50, they take internet coupons for cents off only, and they accept Super Target competitor coupons. Ours here is very coupon friendly and nice to deal with. On the 10 for $10 you don't have to buy 10 products and on B1G1 you can just buy one at half price. When they have the buy 10 get $5 off you HAVE to buy 10 participating items but they don't have to be all the same. You can mix and match. HTH!! Stacie F, AL

I shop primarily Kroger now because you can get a lot of good deals if you use the preloaded coupons in conjunction with paper coupons and deals. I have loaded coupons on my card from all of the resources (shortcuts, cellfire and P&G). The good thing is that shortcuts and cellfire have the same item coupons that you can load. For the past couple of weeks they have had buy 10 get $5 off which breaks down to $.50 per item. I was able to get some good deals on items that were $1.99 to start; then you get the $.50 off making it $1.49. I was able to download a $.50 coupon from shortcut and $.60 coupon from cellfire which then makes it $.39 and then a paper coupon that was a $.50 double making it a profit item. Cellfire and Shortcut say that they will only give credit for one coupon no how many of the same item you buy. I was lucky enough to get the credit on 2 on of the same items. I have not tried to split the order up yet to see if you can a lot better deal that way.

Don't forget! you can link your Kroger Plus card to your UPromise account to get money back on that.
