I bought the plain white and was able to use the $2.00 coupons. I ended up paying $1.00 and some change for tax, plus I got the $5 ECB. You do have be lucky enough to get a cashier to use the coupon though, since it does say for the metal type only. I got lucky :)
I did find them, but they were not apart of the sale at my local CVS. I was really excited about this one, because I'll be moving in 3 to 6 months and can always use hooks in a new apartment.
Ok, so I went back to CVS today and found out they just didn't tag the hooks properly. They are apart of the 2/$5 sale. They only had 3 metal hooks, so I got 3 white plastic ones and the coupons worked for all 6 of them. I'm sooooo happy I was able to get these. Oh, and because they didn't have the 6 metal ones I really wanted, the cashier gave me a raincheck. So, I need to print a few more of those coupons to get 6 more for free! I guess I lucked out on this one. It just goes to show that you shouldn't assume the sales are always reflected correctly in the store. Always ask and have the cashier ring it in to see what the actual price is.
These are sometimes hard to find, you have to check the home improvement sections. I looked around for awhile and then asked a clerk. I also was able to get the white ones.

3 CVS Stores, and I still haven't found one that carries this item...oh well.
Where is this item available....I also have been to 3 CVS stores in my area (Los Angeles) and have not seen this item.
I haven't found 'em either. Went to CVS stores in Tallahassee area last night... those don't even carry the metal ones. :(
Oops, meant to say I went to TWO last night...

I did not see these at my local store too.
Try to call before making a big number of stops.
