I am new to this...so if I use a B1G1 free coupon on a B1G1 free item it makes both items free? I am referring to the Sobe life. How does that work? Sorry- I am confused.

April, that is correct. You can use a B1G1 coupon on a B1G1 item to make both FREE.

Ashley,
I noticed that my RP insert for 4/5 doesn't contain the Kelloggs $1. Is the RP different depending on where you live??
Thanks so much!
Ashley

Ashley - yep, you are right. That is why!

I wanted to get the Air Wick Mini for $4.99 but it is $9.95 at both of the CVS stores in my area.....Is this only in certain areas???

C - the cvs flier is national. according to the flier it is half off this week at $4.99 - look at your stores flier and see if they have the same listed. Perhaps they did not change it on their shelves

A fellow reader shares -
I noticed that Pantene was 2/$7 I have a coupon for$3/2 and you get $2 in ECB plus I have another coupon for free pantene product with another pantene purchase. So I figure it out to be 2 Pantene shampoos and spritz for $2. Just passing the buck - I wasn't sure on the dates on those coupons. Thanks again
Beth

FYI - Check P&G 3/1 and 4/5 for these coupons.Since the $3/2 coupon is for two items, you likely will not be able to use the additional coupon for free pantene product.

You and your website are a Godsend for my family!! I am amazed every week at the new deals we can get and how much money we are saving. I love looking at your lists and then adding or taking away to meet my family's needs. Just got back from CVS, and after coupons and my new ECBs earned, my OOP cost is only $1.41. I paid $15.88 in cash, used $14 in previously earned ECBs, saved $40.43 (not counting ECBs used), and earned $14.47 in new ECBs for next week!!

Thank you, Karen!

I'm new to this, so forgive me in advance. I am noticing a whole lot of suggested coupons do not match the sale product. For instance, a sale may be mentioned for toothbrushes and have a link to a coupon, but the coupon clearly states it is for toothpaste. I am running into this across the board on a number of sites I visit. Is this "allowed" as long as it's the same brand?

The CVS ad is not national because there are different items in different regions of the country...For example the AirWick Mini for $4.99 is not in my Los Angeles area ad for this week.

Can you explain this to me???

Frugal Coupon Living said...

Tonya - no the coupon needs to match the prodcut. Did a misrepresent a prodcut with a wrong coupon. If so let me know.
Thanks!

C - they deals are national. I have not see a variance in the deals but you are the second person to mention this about the Airwick. I guess you could try to purchase it and see what it rings up. If it is not the $4.99 price then you could return it.

I occassionally run across a mismatched coupon/product, not necessarily on here. I am just getting the knack of this, but tonight I went to Target with a printable coupon for Aveeno. The deal said to buy the 2.99 product, but the coupon was for Positively Ageless and the lowest priced item in that line was about $8. The 2.99 product was original Aveeno. Does that make sense? Thank you for making this all so simple for us newbies! I love your site and visit several times a day!

When I was at my CVS store tonight they told me not to cut out the internet coupons, just give them the whole sheet of paper. They have been having problems with fraud. Thought I would pass this information along. Luckily, since the manager was familiar with me, he did let me use the coupons I had with me. Love this web site!

Hi Ashley,

I was wondering if you could explain to me how you got the final price on the Dove Hair Care products? Maybe I'm just not adding it up right but it seems that if they're B1G1 and there's a $1.50 coupon then they should be less than that? Are you using 2 coupons on this as well?

Thanks!

Kristen, it looks like I made a mistake. Key is to use two coupons. It is a B1G1 deal (two items, two coupons.) Sorry about that. Since I am working on next week I am not going to exhaust myself making the edits. Take care girl. Sorry about that.
