Hi! Thanks again for everything you do. I saved $82 this week on my Publix run! By far the best I've done since I've become a fan of this website when I saw you on Dr. Phil.

I thought I'd share some tips for your Orlando-area readers:

1. We can pick up extra coupons for free and a day early by grabbing a few copies of the area's Spanish news paper (El Sentinel) on Saturdays. Locations that carry copies are listed here (http://orlando.elsentinel.com/orl-es-listado2008,0,3691547.htmlstory). You can also subscribe for free via their website here (http://orlando.elsentinel.com/orl-es-formsuscripcion2007,0,929039.customform).
2. There are $10 off a $40 purchase at the Whole Foods Market on Turkey Lake Rd floating around that can be used as competitor coupons (they expire 5/31/09). I just found out about these the other day when as I was checking out at Publix my first visit by the coupon fairy came in the form of a very nice gentleman who gave me the coupon on his way out because he wasn’t going to use it. I did some research and found out the coupon was in a tourist booklet that can be found at various locations that carry tourist info (Where Orlando Quick Guide Jan – Mar). Since it was in the Jan – Mar issue I missed picking them up for free but I found people listing them on ebay. I picked up 8 for less than $3.00 (with free shipping!). I figure I’ll go to Publix once a week for the next 6 weekends so that’s $60 in savings. The extras I can give to a friend or family member. Here is an example of one of the listings: (http://cgi.ebay.com/7-Whole-Foods-coupons-Publix-Coupons-each-10-off-40_W0QQitemZ130300212609QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item130300212609&_trksid=p3911.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1205%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A12%7C39%3A1%7C240%3A1318%7C301%3A1%7C293%3A1%7C294%3A50)

I hope these tips help others in the area!

Thanks!

Rachel

Went to Publix today with coupons... the cashier said I couldnt combine a manufacture and competitor coupon, only a store and competitor. Is this right?

Matt that is strange. You should be able combine a MFR and SC but not a CC and SC.
I Hope this helps.
