Where is That Coupon?

A few times a week I get an email asking me why a coupon I listed for an item is not in their Sunday (Smart Source, Red Plum) insert. The reason why this happens is coupons are REGIONAL. Larger cities get bigger, better, and more coupons while rural areas hardly get any. Some cities even were affected by the Red Plum pull and don't get any of those inserts. I live in a city that has a nice amount of coupons but I am regularly missing a coupon. I am here to prove that you CAN do it even with these missing coupons. The coupons will come eventually. If you are in need of a coupon and cannot wait longer, always remember you can order the coupons you that you don't get in your Sunday inserts at The Coupon Clippers by clicking the icon below.

I hear you, it is so frustrating living in a smaller market. How have you liked using the Coupon Clippers? How fast do the coupons arrive?

You can go to Redplum.com and print the coupons and get other offers. I have also used the Coupon Clippers for coupons I can never find to buy items I restock every month. The coupons came quickly, within 4 days. I spent $12.84 on the coupons, but I saved about $80.00!!

I recently used Coupon Clippers for the first time. I found the service to be wonderful! They offered many coupons that I do not get here in my area and the delivery was super-fast. I will definitely be using them again!

This is so true about the inserts being regional. I live in Eastern Iowa and we have a fairly good-sized local newspaper, but I've found the Des Moines Register has usually three times the amount of coupons as my local paper has each week. So we usually end up with two newspapers, and double up on some coupons.

I have a weird example of this. I live in Brevard and we have the Florida today. But Orlando Sentinel also sells papers over here. I bought a Sentinel on 4/5 and it had a Unilever/valassis ad instead of the 2nd red plum. Later that night I got 3 of the Florida today and it had all the same inserts but it had a few different coupons then the city paper. It didn't have the vitamin water coupon or the BOGO schick razor one for example. :( Needless to say I will only buy the sentinel from now on.

First of all I wanted to thank you! I saw you on dr. phil and it has inspired me to save my family some money. So far in April I've saved my family over $200 that I would not have saved without seeing you on tv. Having you lay out exactly what is on sale and what coupons you use has been extremely helpful.

Most of my deals have been at Walgreens, Target, and a few at Wal-Mart. No cvs here -bummer! My big question is how do I make the jump to start saving lots of money on groceries? I feel so confused! I have grocery stores like Super-Walmart, Safeway, Albertsons, Yokes, and Tidymans in my area if you know of any sites that would make shopping at those stores any easier.

I'm addicted to saving now! I could not have been more excited to get a bunch of deodorants for 9 cents each at Walgreens (clearance at $1.09 plus $1 off peelies)in addition to products with register rewards.

Again, I really appreciate your efforts to help others! :)

I am a local reader who checks your blog daily ever since I went to your couponing class at Wildwood. Thanks for all your great tips!

I don't subscribe to the Democrat, but I go buy the paper every Sunday. Is there a difference in the inserts that are in papers that are delivered versus inserts that are in the papers you buy at the store?

Joy - for our area the subscription and newsstand are the same.
