Note the Bayer Quick Release Crystal Coupon is for a 10 count or larger, the sale is on a 4 count package. Still a good deal at Free after RR though.

thanks texas mom!

I was about to tell you about the coupon being 10ct. Just want to let you know though that at CVS when I got those same Bayer for free w/their ECB deal last week (I had a coupon for $1 off don't know which insert it came from) there was a tear pad for $1 off their products on the display that they were stacked in.

Has Wags changed their 'redemption of RR's'?
I had 3 items and tried to use 2 RR's and it beeped at the cashier who said no-go. Have you heard anything?
thanks!

I am having some challenges with my local Walgreens. I have tried for the last 2 weeks to redeem multiple reward bucks on my purchase but if I already used a MFR coupon for each item then I cannot also use the reward bucks. According to the staff, I would have to purchase an additional item to use more reward bucks. I typically try to have a coupon for everything I purchase therefore I might be losing out on taking advantage of the reward bucks. If anyone else having a similar problem.

Walgreens also has Neutrogena cosmetics for B1G1 this week - and there's a $3/2 coupon in the June All You.
Michelle - I had a really great manager at my local store explain their RR to me. Usually when I've had a problem it's because most RRs say you can't use more coupons than you have items...so if you are buying 3 items and have 1 MFR coupon for each, they won't accept a RR for that purchase. When I'm in that pinch, I buy something that I need but don't have a coupon for...

I almost always have one coupon for each item in my purchases, so I usually get a cheap filler (travel anti-bac wipes for $0.99 are always needed in my house, esp. now) if I have a RR to redeem.

I'm sure most of you reading have already seen this in the ad, but I thought I'd post anyway.

The Russell Stover that's B1G1 with WEekly Ad Coupon are $8.99.

Also the RR on the Dr Pepper Products is $5, not $3, making this an even sweeter deal!

I am new to this Walgreens thing so I have a couple questions that I might have just missed the answer to but I want to make sure I get it before I go to the store.

1. I read somewhere on the internet that if you are purchasing a deal where you get RR you cannot use a manufacturer's coupon. Is this true? For example if it says when you purchase 2 of a product for $5 you can get $1 RR and I use a coupon bringing my total under $5 then I won't get the RR?

Also...
Can you clarify on how it works to redeem them?

Thanks :D

Just an FYI... I purchased the 12 count swiffer cleaning pads that were advertised for $4 in the flyer. (They weren't pictured, but listed under the picture of the swiffer cleaning liquid). They rang up at $6.79 each, so I had to go back to the register to get refunded for the difference. So, they wrote on my receipt and crossed out the price. I am seriously hoping that won't affect my ability to get the $10 rebate off the $20 purchase. If you plan to do the rebate, make sure those items are in a separate receipt because you have to send in your original receipt.

LindseyJo, You can use coupons and it will still print your register rewards. Today I purchased 3- 12 packs of 7up and used 3 coupons and my RR still printed. You can even MAKE money occasionally with RR's. For example, colgate sensitive is $4.49 and you get $4.49 in RR's after your purchase making it free. You can also use a coupon for $1 off colgate so you are coming out ahead $1.

I wonder though if what you read was something different though. You can't redeem more coupons and register rewards than the number of items in your cart. If you have 6 items and 6 coupons, you wouldn't be able to redeem a RR on this purchase. Many people will buy an inexpensive item to bring up the number of items. There is a clearance isle that will oftem have cheap items. Last week they had breath mint drops for 15 cents.

Hang in there! You'll catch on fast. The best thing to do when new is go in with a list. Know the price, how many register rewards you will be getting and keep your coupons organized. Keep your transactions small to start. Make 2 transactions if it helps. Many people do this and use the RR's from the first transaction on the second transaction.

Ashley (or anyone that can answer this question!)
This week, Walgreens has a coupon on their flyer for 99cents for Dawn dish liquid...I have a coupon from P&G for $1 off any Dawn...so can I combine the WAGS coupon and P&G coupon and get it for free??

Frugal Coupon Living said...

Kaysha, you should be able to but the Walgreens systems/registers have been doing tricky things lately like not allowing this. I would make sure you have one item in your cart that is at least $1 or more with this item. also, use the MFR coupon first, then the SC (flier coupon)

Thanks Ashley!! Free dish detergent sounds too good to be true! I will try and see if they will let me do it. Thanks for the advice! :)

Everytime I go to walgreens I always get TONS of beeping errors on my coupons. I think they need to re-figure their system!
