Local Readers - Challenger Learning Center Specials

On July, 20, 1969, Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin became the first men to walk on the moon. The Challenger Learning Center will celebrate this historic mission with a series of special events including free and discounted shows.
Saturday, July 18, 2009:
· 11am - Magnificent Desolation: Walking on the Moon in IMAX free for children 12 and under accompanied by an adult
· "Space Gifts" in the Challenger Learning Center gift shop will be discounted 10%
· Challenger Learning Center memberships discounted 10%
· Special appearance by Astro, the CLC mascot
Monday, July 20, 2009:
· 6pm - Free Tallahassee Astronomical Society moon presentation in the Downtown Digital Dome Theatre & Planetarium
· 7pm - Magnificent Desolation: Walking on the Moon in IMAX; tickets discounted to $5 (a savings of up to $3 per ticket!)
