Have you heard the saying "Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime." We can always "coupon" shop for a needy family, but why don't we teach a family the skills to coupon. Take a friend shopping, create a list of "hints" when coupon shopping or sit down and give them a tutorial of how to save money shopping with the combination of sales and coupons. Remember if we "fish" for our friends, they will be fed them for a day (unless we stockpile - wink) but if we teach them to tools of the trade, we are giving them a skill that can save their family money for years to come!

I am trying to coupon the right way. I love coupons and I do not like paying full price for anything. I would love for someone to take me shopping and coupon the right way.
I did this exact thing when my best friend and her family came to visit for the weekend. I showed her my stockpile and she instantly wanted to know more. she calls me every monday to let me know her savings on her groc shopping. shes even got her hubby excited about it..lol.
I really enjoy reading your post. You def pay it forward to all of us. And the best way to thank you is to teach others and direct then to your blog :D
