Diapers.com Deal

Followup: I called Diapers.com this morning and asked them if the Parenting Magazine was no longer affective. They informed me that it was still running (it had gone inactive for a little while.) When you are in the shopping cart, you find the note on Parenting Magazine (and then it states learn more.) Go to learn more and you will be able to print the rebate form if you do not want the Parenting Magazine.) If this is the case, then you will get reimbursed from Parenting Magazine (not from Diapers.com.)

I just ordered from Diapers.com this morning so I thought I would repost this deal. One thing I do appreciate about this site is that they price match so now that I have done my order, I am shopping the internet to see if I could get the same things for cheaper.

Diapers.com Deal
-Make a purchase of $49 or more and get free 2-day shipping, no code required
-Get an extra $10 off your order by entering the following referral code: DIAPERSV (think diaper save)

-Get either a FREE year subscription to Parenting magazine or a $14.97 rebate (I would go with the rebate. You will find FREE Parent magazines all the time.) Details shown Here for more on the rebate offer. (How is is going for those that submitted their rebate on the last post?) You DO NEED to submit that form if you want the rebate!
.
My Scenerio
-Huggies Snug and Dry Diapers Extra Large Case, Size 1 -2 , 228 diapers $38.99
-Huggies Snug and Dry Diaper - Jumbo Pack, Size 1, 56 diapers $10.99
or Pampers Baby Dry - Jumbo Pack, Size 1 56 diapers $10.99
-Total before codes and rebates = $49.98
.
-$10 off $49 code DIAPERSV + Free Shipping
-Total after code: = $39.98
.
-$14.97 refund (mail in offer)
-Total after rebate and code= $25.01!
.
-Divide $25.01 by 284 diapers and that is ONLY $.09 per diaper!!! If you choose not to get the rebate you only pay $.14 per diaper - still a great deal!
-Delivery should only be around 2 days!

First I wanted to just say that I am totally obsessed with your website since your appearance on Dr. Phil. I am obsessed with trying to find coupons and trying to live even more frugal than I already am! I am even on your website in the middle of the night to see if there is any new posts since I went on earlier!
Anyway.........I just did the diapers.com deal and I will be paying $29.40 for 248 LUVS size 4 diapers once the rebate goes thru. I usually get my diapers thru a wholesale club but I decided to go with this this one time since it was so inexpensive!
Thanks for the tip!!! (too bad you can't use that $10 coupon more than once AND also be able to use the $5 off coupon code they show on the website along with the $10!)
Have a great day!!!

This is an awesome deal, but it looks like it's only for first time buyers.

ok so to get the rebate what is the "proof of payment" they need? anyone know?

A few weeks after you place your diaper order you should get in the mail a card from Parents magazine on which you can decline the subscription and get the rebate sent to you. I ordered 186 Pampers Baby Dry Size 5 diapers last week and after the rebate will pay .16/diaper!

I was able to use the $10 off but cannot find the subscription to the magazine where I can get the rebate. Can someone help me?

I can't fine the subscription to the magazine either.....Can someone help?

Ladies, look at Kerry's comment. She has answered the question to the rebate. Take care!

Thanks Kerry, I had the same question!

I purchased Pampers through Diapers.com using this deal, but I have yet to receive my refund from Parenting Magazine and it has been over 2 months. I have contacted both diapers.com and parenting and neither seem to care too much and haven't gotten me the refund in over 3 weeks of trying. Has anyone else had this problem?

Amy, what was Diapers.com's response. Parent wouldn't know what to do as Diapers.com is the one responsible. Let us know what they said!

The whole thing is a big mess. I talked with Parenting again today and they said that they have issued a credit/refund, but to the party that was responsible for payment (which would be Diapers.com) and that they will not refund the customer as I am not the one who actually paid. Diapers.com says that they are in talks with Parenting, but haven't yet heard back. I finally gave up and just got a credit to my Diapers.com account for $14.97. It meant I needed to buy more stuff from them, but at this point (after fighting it since February 24th) I just wanted to see the end of it. I do want to hear what other say about it and whether anyone gets their actual refund.

Amy, how is the refund going?

Ladies, does the subscription form from Parents magazine say you earned it from diapers.com? I just want to be sure I send in the correct form for the rebate. I tend to get a lot of subscription forms from Parents. Thanks!

Crazy question...do they charge tax? I know some only charge online if you are in the same state.

thanks!

I thought the Parenting rebate ended already. Anyone know differently?

I also thought the rebate ended, but I bought diapers any way because it was still a good deal. I also found on diapers.com that they except manufacturer's coupons, http://www.diapers.com/HelpCenter/Coupons.aspx.

This rebate deal ended in March...I called and checked last week. Stinks! They aren't sure if/when it will be offered again.

I havent recieved my rebate yet either, and then just the other day I got a parenting magazine in the mail, so Im wondering if they decided to send me the magazine instead of giving me the rebate, but I could have signed up for it another way and just forgot. I havent called the company but I will.

Frugal Coupon Living said...

hitting the slopes they did not charge me tax.

I sent in for this rebate a while ago-and this week I received an issue of Parenting in the mail. I'm quite sure I sent everything in correctly, so I don't know why I got the magazine instead of a rebate, unless it's still coming. Fortunately the diapers were a good deal before the rebate, but it is a bummer. I can't say I'm up for the fight to get it corrected so I think I'll just let it go...

Hittingtheslopes said...

Excellent- about them not charging tax! Being from a state that has a high rate, that makes a diff. whether this is a good deal for me or not.

Question: how do they 'price match'?

thanks!

**off on a tangent- we use Walmart brand diapers - have for YEARS and they work great! My oldest leaked in huggies as an infant but their brand worked wonderfully! But this deal looks even better, if the rebate goes thru & no tax! yay!

I still never received my refund. Parenting could never find me in the system. It was very frustrating, but I finally gave up and just took $15 in free merch. from Diapers.com. They gave it to me b/c they felt badly about the whole thing...

I wanted the $10 off & the rebate offer, so I placed my order yesterday and have found out the hard way the rebate is no longer offered. I'm dissapointed, as I can not cancel my order they have already shipped it.

Ripcity - I call THIS this AM (Sunday 4/26) and they said it is still activie (they took it away for a short while) but it is back. I asked them the same thing. Give them another call and check on that.

Can't help w/ the rebates, but you can mail in manufacturer's coupons to diapers.com & they will apply it to your future purchases. Maybe you can still do that w/ your current deal if you haven't placed the order?

We love diapers.com, they have the best price I can find on bumgenius (cloth) diapers & the free 2day shipping is awesome!

I did the deal a couple months ago, as well, and have not yet received the rebate. I also received Parenting magazine last week. I think I ordered that somewhere else, though. I guess I will be on the phone to diapers.com in the near future, too.

Frugal Coupon Living said...

Emily, did you send in your rebate form?

Anonymous said...

Yes, I sent it in as soon as I received the diapers.

I just called and they said that lots of people have been having this issue. She is going to give my info to the person who is in charge of the rebates, and I should be hearing back from them in the next couple days. I'll keep you posted!

I did this deal back in March and still haven't received my rebate AND because I didn't pay the bill of the parenting mag (which I did not want because i have every other parent mag there is out there and can barely keep up reading THOSE!) i no longer receive that! Should I call diapers.com??? I can't afford to lose $15! Plus, its the principle of the thing! If something is offered, it should be received!
